This popular location in fenland cambridgeshire is only 0.9 miles from the heart of Ely and has views of Ely Cathedral. The camera is usually pointing in one of two directions. 1) The large green open space with views of Ely cathedral in the background is the Public Open Space of Stour Green. You'll see football, kite flying, frisbee-ing, cricket and all sorts of other informal games taking place during hot weather. The green is also popular with 2 and 3 year olds doing laps on their tricycles with parents in tow! 2) The small green open space, alas, is my garden. The camera will be pointing here if we're on "hedgehog watch". Occasionally we get a friendly visit from our nocturnal friends and as well as the delight of seeing them potter around your garden, I'm also interested to study more of their behaviour. So watch out for hedehogs after dark! here's hoggie in action....
